A modest, but clever extension that plugs in to a 100 year old farmhouse on a stunning 40ha site in Melbourne's Northwest. The client was after an addition that added just enough space to make this into a weekender that could accommodate friends and family. The design brief called for a distinctly contemporary approach that separated the new from the old, whilst paying respect to the history of the existing house that had been in the family for over 100 years.
